The objective of the Plan is to deliver an
attractive return with the potential for early maturity.
Investec Bank plc, as the Plan Manager, now offers 2 different
versions of this Plan. In the Investec version the Issuer is
Investec Bank plc; in the RBS version the Issuer is The Royal
Bank of Scotland plc.
The two versions of the Plan offer different potential
returns.
• If at the end of years 1, 2, 3 or 4 the Kick-Out Level is
higher than the Initial Index Level the Plan will mature early
with a fixed payment equivalent to 11% per annum (Investec
version), or 9.5% per annum (RBS version).
• If the Plan runs to the full 5 year term, the Plan will return
120% of any FTSE 100 growth with no upper limit (for both
versions), comparing the Final Index Level to the Initial Index
Level.
Full repayment of your initial Plan investment is not
guaranteed: Your initial Plan investment will be reduced on a
one-for-one basis for any fall in the Final Index Level compared
to the Initial Index Level if a Barrier Breach occurs and the
Final Index Level is less than the Initial Index Level at the
Final Maturity Date. If a Barrier Breach does not occur your
initial Plan investment is protected at maturity subject to the
risks described on page 7 of the plan brochure.
The Plan is linked to the performance of the FTSE 100. For all
options the performance of the FTSE 100 is measured by reference
to an Initial Index Level, Kick-Out Levels, a Barrier Breach
rule and a Final Index Level as explained on page 4 of the
brochure and in the Terms and Conditions section.
